Why is Obama’s Dangerous Ideology Being Ignored?

I left the Secret Service five years ago because I was deeply troubled by the direction President Barack Obama was taking the country. I, along with millions of conservatives, libertarians, and JFK Democrats, have repeatedly warned the country about Barack Obama and, sadly, he has proven us right again and again. Yet, many Americans choose to blind themselves to this president’s radicalism. Tragically, none of this is conjecture or hyperbole; we can determine the ideological motivations of Barack Obama by simply listening to his own words, and the words of his closest advisors.

Before I delve into Barack Obama’s latest transgression, I want to briefly list some of the Obama team’s more troubling statements, which paint a clear picture of the troubling anti-American ideology which has infected our White House.

In June of 2009, White House staff member, and loyal Obama acolyte, Anita Dunn, while speaking to a group of high school students stated that two of her “favorite political philosophers” were Mother Theresa and Mao Zedong. Yes, that’s right, Mao Zedong, the Chinese communist leader responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of innocent Chinese men and women.

President Obama’s “green jobs czar,” Van Jones, one of the founders of STORM, a self-declared Marxist organization, said in 2005, “I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28, and then the verdicts came down on April 29. By August, I was a communist.”

During President Obama’s recent trip to communist, terrorist-sponsoring Cuba, his Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett tweeted, “Cuba has an extraordinary resource – a system of education which values every boy and every girl.”

Finally, while speaking to a crowd of students in Argentina this week, President Obama told them to forget the differences between capitalism and communism and “Just decide what works.” “What works”? Is this man kidding? Communism “works” only because it brutally suppresses political opposition and tortures and kills anyone who dares question the all-powerful state. What more do you need to hear from this failure of a president to convince yourself that he is an enemy of liberty and freedom? He is screaming his ideological anti-Americanism at Americans and yet many continue to whistle past the graveyard and ignore it.

I’ll say this again to be as clear as possible: this president is a danger to freedom and liberty. I write this based simply on his words and actions, which you can choose to overlook at your own peril. And because President Obama wants us to forget the differences between capitalism and communism, here’s a reminder for Barack Obama, and his supporters, about the critical difference between capitalism and communism: government-sponsored torture and murder.

• Communist Cambodia: 2 million
• Communist North Korea: 2 million
• Communist Eastern European Countries: 1 million
• Communist Vietnam: 1 million

Finally, this is not simply a matter of semantics or political gamesmanship. President Obama’s anti-American ideological leanings are causing a very real danger to our public safety. Barack Obama’s reluctance to call terrorism by its name is another tragic indication of his anti-American ideology. He sees freedom and capitalism as inherently exploitative and terrorism as a symptom of this exploitation. Make no mistake, this man has reoriented the ideological arc of the country towards one which has, historically, only ended in one place: destruction. Until he leaves office, we will all suffer.
