Are You Ready to Vote?

IFA_Voter Guide online

Written by David E. Smith is the most comprehensive voter guide you will find!

But first…

TODAY is the last day to register to vote online for the March 15th Primary Election. Illinois still allows for people to register to vote after today, but not online and at limited locations. Check with the IL State Board of Elections for details.

The Primary election is in many ways the more important election because it is in this election voters decided between the “okay,” “mushy-middle” or the “hold-my-nose” candidates and the “better” or “best” candidates.

Also, we want to remind you that if have a 17 year old in your family who is going to be 18 years old by the November 8th General Election, they are eligible to vote in the March 15th Primary Election!

Take ACTION: You can register online today (through midnight) at the Illinois State Board of Election website:

And with the Primary Election just one month away, Illinois Family Action (IFA) wants to remind you that we have an excellent online voter guide that will equip you with the most comprehensive information on the candidates so that you can confidently choose those who best reflect your values.

Look for the candidate endorsements from IFA-pac as well! identifies candidates on a 7-point scale from “very liberal” to “very conservative.”

Voters can see for themselves:

  • How candidates have voted in the past
  • Who has endorsed them
  • Who the candidates give money to
  • Where the candidates’ money comes from
  • How the candidates answer questions on critical issues
  • Virtual Vote Rating on candidates that have never held public office

Simply put, voters cannot trust the media, big money or sometimes what candidates claim in election mailers or in debates.  We check their records! is Illinois’ absolute best resource for candidate information!

For even more information, please check out the Illinois Family Institute’s 501(c)3 voter guide resources HERE.

Support the Work of IFA

Resources we raised last year for a 501c3 cannot be used for our 501c4 political activities and cannot be used to directly support candidates. Therefore, we must raise funds for these specific efforts through Illinois Family Action, which will in turn help us better accomplish our overall goals.

Please consider donating $10, $25, $50 or more to IFA to enable our more direct participation in political activities that create a strong and effective voice for pro-life, pro-marriage and pro-family decisions in the Land of Lincoln.
