Doctor-Assisted Suicide From the Perspective of a Doctor (IFS #386)

Today we’re placing the spotlight on Dr. Benjamin German and his professional take on Illinois’ efforts to legalize doctor-assisted suicide. Dr. German is a primary caregiver in the Lawndale Christian Health Center on Chicago’s West side, and also an Illinois Representative in the Academy of Medical Ethics, the biomedical arm of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations.

During a special forum hosted by the Illinois Family Institute at Belmont Bible Church in Downers Grove, Dr. German elaborates on how assisted suicide works, the ethical concerns regarding it, and outlines terms, history and arguments against medically assisted suicide.
