Crazed Dems Want the 25th Amendment Invoked

Governor JB Pritzker is once again making headlines—this time calling for President Donald Trump to be removed from office under the 25th Amendment. His justification? The strong language Trump has used toward the Shiite (Shai) Islamist regime governing the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Pritzker has publicly questioned the president’s mental fitness, labeling his rhetoric “dangerous” and calling him a “deranged madman,” adding, “It’s past time. The 25th Amendment must be invoked.”

This is not the first time Pritzker has pushed such an extreme measure. In September and October 2025, he raised similar concerns after Trump deployed troops to American cities—including Chicago—as part of an illegal immigration crackdown. Pritzker said:

“Sending troops into cities, thinking that that’s some sort of proving ground for war, or that indeed there’s some sort of internal war going on in the United States is just, frankly, inane and I’m concerned for his health.”

He even went so far as to compare Trump to Russia’s despotic president Vladimir Putin, claiming “there is something genuinely wrong with this man.”

Pritzker is not alone. According to WBEZ reporter Tina Sfondeles, more than 50 U.S. House Democrats* have floated similar calls, joined by an unlikely mix of voices—including former U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, and political podcast hosts Alex Jones and Candace Owens.

Sfondeles doesn’t bother to mention that Marjorie Taylor Greene is a foreign policy isolationist who has an axe to grind with President Trump. Nor does she mention that Alex Jones and Candace Owens have built large audiences by leaning into provocative, conspiratorial, and highly controversial commentary. Their platforms depend on sensational content to drive clicks.

But perhaps the greatest irony in all of this is who is making the accusations.

Pritzker and his political allies are questioning the president’s mental fitness while advancing policies that reject basic biological realities. These are the same Leftists who are unable to define what a woman is, while insisting that men can become women. The same politicians who push language like “pregnant person” and “chestfeeding,” asking the public to conform to an ever-shifting ideological framework.

• These are the same people who constructed terms like “non-binary people,” “heteronormative,” “cisgender,” “deadnaming” and “LGBTQIA+.”

• These are the same people who demand we use fabricated terms like “ze/hir/hirs, xe/xem/xyr, ae/aer/aers” as pronouns for those confused about their identity, claiming that there an infinite number of genders.

• These are the same people Democrats who want to transition children without parental notification.

• These are the same people who insist that women must allow gender-confused men to use their locker rooms, bathrooms and showers.

• These are the same people who host and/or promote “drag queen story hour” for toddlers.

• These are the same people who champion on-demand abortion “without apology,” even though science and common sense affirms that human life begins at conception.

• These are the same people who support suicide hotlines and cry out for “human rights” but then legalize (and normalize) assisted suicide and euthanasia.

• These are the same people who believe that anyone of any age should have access to any material in public libraries… including children being able to access pornographic sites on the Internet.

• These are the same people who attack fatherhood and male leadership as “toxic,” and “patriarchal,” while deriding motherhood as burdensome, backward, or secondary to professional achievement.

• These are the same people who want to eliminate America’s borders and dismantle our law enforcement agencies while providing taxpayer money to illegal immigrants for healthcare, food and housing.

• These are the same people who decry the arrests of criminal illegals and are silent when these same criminals kill and rape our citizens.

• These are the same people who were silent when it was crystal clear that the former president was failing in mental acuity.

And yet, we are expected to believe that these unstable, science-denying politicians are the arbiters of reason and stability?! Seriously?

Voters should also keep in mind that Governor Pritzker is widely expected to pursue the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028. Statements like these are not merely rhetoric or positioning; they are clear appeals to the anti-Trump base. In other words, he is pandering.

At a time when serious challenges demand sober leadership, invoking the 25th Amendment over political disagreements risks trivializing a constitutional safeguard meant for genuine incapacity—not partisan disputes or political advantage.
