Illinois Pastors Speak Up About The Equal Protection Act

In this week’s episode of Illinois Family Spotlight, IFI’s Dave Smith sits down with Pastor Brandon Myers and Pastor Calvin Lindstrom to discuss SB 3572, a bill with the express goal of abolishing abortion in Illinois.

Because of its serious language, this bill has many pro-lifers standing against it. It is vital that we, as believers, are not controlled by our emotions but are instead controlled by the Word of God.

Romans 12 commands believers to not being conformed to this word but to instead be “transformed by the renewal of your mind.”

Psalm 119:105 declares that it is God’s Word that is to be our guide.

The Church must stand with this bill.

“If the church remains silent, you do not have a polity, a people, a citizenry that is informed by the Word of God.”
