Pritzker and Perversion

Written by Rev. Calvin Lindstrom

At the close of June 2025, Jay Robert Pritzker declared his intention to seek an unprecedented third term as Governor of Illinois. This move, widely interpreted as a stepping stone toward a potential presidential bid, solidifies his political trajectory and raises critical questions about the nature of power and influence in contemporary American governance.

Pritzker’s path to the governorship has been paved with an unparalleled personal fortune. In 2018, he invested an astounding $171.5 million of his own wealth into his campaign, followed by an additional $145 million in 2022 to secure his second term. This combined expenditure of nearly $317 million over two election cycles effectively demonstrates how immense personal wealth can fundamentally reshape the political landscape, bypassing traditional fundraising and grassroots movements. This level of self-funding raises profound concerns about the accessibility of public office for those without comparable financial backing, suggesting that the governorship of Illinois has become, in essence, a purchasable commodity.[1]

While Pritzker’s inherited wealth—a $1.4 billion share in 1999, now reportedly grown to $3.7 billion according to Forbes—is not the primary focus of this critique, his actions as governor reveal a concerning pattern.[2] Dismissing him as merely a “fat slob” or someone who has “just lived off his family’s fortune” is a dangerous underestimation of what he has accomplished in terms of advancing harmful policies. Instead, our focus should be on the tangible impacts of his leadership.

His alleged tax evasion tactics, such as the infamous removal of toilets from a mansion to reduce its property value, stand in stark contrast to his administration’s consistent push for increased taxes on Illinois citizens.[3] Similarly, his imposition of stringent emergency mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic, which saw widespread state shutdowns, while members of his own family reportedly retreated to a Florida estate, highlights a disconnect between his policies and the lived experiences of ordinary Illinoisans.

These are not minor issues; they contribute to a narrative of hypocrisy and a governance style that appears to prioritize personal or familial comfort over consistent public accountability.

However, the most profound concern stemming from Governor Pritzker’s tenure lies in his active promotion and financial support for radical ideologies concerning human sexuality and identity. Just six years ago, on June 30, 2019, Governor Pritzker issued Executive Order 19-11, which explicitly extended state-level welcome and support for children identifying with manufactured sex identities. This executive action is not an isolated incident but aligns directly with the extensive philanthropic and political efforts of his family, particularly his cousin James Pritzker (now identifying as Jennifer Pritzker), who has been a leading financier in the promotion of “synthetic sex identities” (SSI).[4]

Further evidence of this alignment emerged in 2022, when David Larson of the Carolina Journal reported on Governor Pritzker’s appointment as a trustee of Duke University in 2017. Shortly thereafter, Duke announced the establishment of a new Adult Gender Medicine Clinic and a significant expansion of its Child and Adolescent Gender Care Clinic.

While proponents may dismiss any direct connection, the timing and the Pritzker family’s documented history of supporting such initiatives strongly suggest a pattern of influence over major institutions and the proliferation of medical services in this controversial area.[5] This raises critical questions about the role of private wealth and personal associations in shaping public health policy and the medical landscape, particularly concerning the horrible and irreversible “treatments” performed on minors.

Scripture is very clear that man is born a sinner (see Psalm 14 and Psalm 51). We are not just products of our environment. However, Scripture does assert the danger of sinful influences.

Moreover he [King Jehoram] made high places in the mountains of Judah, and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit harlotry, and led Judah astray. ~2 Chronicles 21:11

The righteous should choose his friends carefully,
For the way of the wicked leads them astray.
~Prov 12:26

Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Judah, and for four,
I will not turn away its punishment,
Because they have despised the law of the LORD,

And have not kept His commandments.
Their lies lead them astray,
Lies which their fathers followed.
~Amos 2:4

The most serious warning on this issue was given by the Lord Jesus Christ.

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.” ~Mark 9:42

When evaluating Governor Pritzker’s policies—including his support for abortion, the promotion of “perverse” sex education, the normalization of “synthetic sex identities,” and the endorsement of homosexuality—it is imperative to consider these actions through an ethical framework rooted in Scripture. These policies directly contribute to moral confusion and societal decay, particularly impacting children and the most vulnerable.

It is my conviction that Governor Pritzker’s actions in these areas place him under a profound spiritual judgment. My earnest prayer is that God will intervene, turning him from these evil policies and opening his eyes to the redemption found only in Jesus Christ. Join me in prayer as we simultaneously raise awareness and stand firmly against the detrimental policies of our governor.
