Library Boards & Conservative Candidates in 2023

In this week’s episode of Illinois Family Spotlight, Monte Larrick converses with Anthony Catella, a candidate for the St. Charles library board. The two discuss theology, the military, and why t’s important to run for local office in your community.

Mr. Catella has a deep sense of civic obligation and service. This sense of service motivated him to enlist in the Army, to become a Priest and serve in the Priesthood.  Since 2016 he has felt God’s call to enter public service to continue as a servant-leader for fellow citizens, saying

Providence has blessed us with the abilities of intellect and will to govern ourselves with reason and justice.

The ideals of faith and freedom are the rock solid foundation on which our nation  stands. They have made the United States of America one nation under God.

As long as we remain true to our sacred heritage of faith and freedom we shall as a nation long endure and with God’s blessings we shall fulfill the Gettysburg resolve of Abraham Lincoln that “this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
