URGENT: Please Stand With IFA

Illinois Family Institute (IFI) has been fighting for traditional family values for more than thirty years now. We have never been afraid to stand up and speak out in the public square for the Judeo-Christian values upon which our country was founded, or to roll up our sleeves to do the hard work of advancing the truth no matter how “politically incorrect.”

In 2010 we launched Illinois Family Action (IFA), our 501c4 political arm, which allows us to be more involved in elections, helping the best candidates (state and federal) in their primaries and/or general election races. This has allowed us much greater freedom to take our views to the public square where the great debates over culture, rights, freedom, and values are taking place.

We are seeing an extraordinary degree of delusional thinking, rhetoric, and militancy. Threats to the institutions of the family and the church are intense and sustained. This is a good time to remember these words from Ronald Reagan:

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

Recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions have fanned the flames of leftist rage. They are not happy to see large portions of their agenda struck down, and they are throwing tantrums.

Apostles of Wokeism and their leaders are determined to make abortion the number one issue going into the November 8th election. They want to paint pro-life candidates as extreme because they recognize that the “right to choose” means the gruesome death of a preborn human being.

We are more than happy to challenge the radical position of pro-abortion candidates, many of whom voted for (or openly support) abortion on demand through all nine months of pregnancy—including the day before birth. That is not only evil, but it is also out of touch with what most voters want.

In addition, abortion cheerleaders here in Illinois worked overtime to overturn the Parental Notice of Abortion Act in order to facilitate abortions on minor girls, even as young as 10 years old. Public polling shows that Illinois residents overwhelmingly want a parental notice law.

Only presumptuous extremists like Illinois’ Governor J.B. Pritzker support the usurpation of the rights and duties of individuals by the government. It’s clearer now than ever! We must be bold and assertive in pushing back against the Woke mob. Their lies and distortions cannot stand in the light of truth.

But we desperately need your help to do this.

Our adversaries will lie, scream, vandalize, obstruct, blaspheme God, demonize Christians, and openly violate the law to achieve their goals. They are on the attack. They are determined to make Illinois an abortion destination. Moreover, they are working to elect candidates that are willing to support their wicked goals.

We must be ready and equipped to take on the lies of the left and defend the most vulnerable members of our community even in the face of vicious opposition. We also must be on the OFFENSE.
