IFA’s 2022 U.S. Senatorial Candidate Forum

Written by David E. Smith

Illinois Republican candidates for U.S. Senate gathered at the Church of Christian Liberty in Arlington Heights on the evening of March 26, 2022 for an IFA candidate forum. Of the seven official candidates running for the GOP nomination, five candidates were able to join us for this special event:

Matthew “Matt” Dubiel of Naperville           Kathy Salvi of Mundelein
Jimmy Lee Tillman II of Chicago           Robert “Bobby” Piton of Geneva
        Case Chelebek of Lake Forest

The purpose of the forum (and the video) is to give Illinois voters an opportunity to hear directly from candidates without the interference, bias, and selective editing of the establishment media. In doing this, we hope to foster discussions on the issues of importance to the candidates and to the voters in this election. Interest is high, as evidenced by the fact that the room was full. (The event was open to the public.)

We are pleased to make this video presentation of the full program available to you for your consideration. Please watch and share with your Illinois neighbors!

In addition to the questions initiated by our panel of pastors, select questions were chosen from those submitted in advance by the public via email. We would like to thank our panelists: Pastor James Pittman of New Hope Community Church in Palatine; Pastor Ceasar LeFlore, an Illinois Family Institute board member; Pastor Shando Valdez of New Jerusalem Evangelical Baptist Church in Chicago; and our host, Pastor Calvin Lindstrom of Church of Christian Liberty in Arlington Heights.

Max Solomon, candidate for Illinois governor, was given five minutes to introduce himself to the crowd at the end of the program.
