SPOTLIGHT: A Day With The Baileys

This episode of Spotlight features two guests that Illinois Family staff is proud to call our friends and allies: State Senator and candidate for Illinois Governor Darren Bailey and his amazing wife Cindy. If you’ve been following Illinois politics, you have doubtless heard of Senator Bailey as he has been on the front lines challenging the legalities of COVID lockdowns and fighting against government schools’ sexualization of our children.

The Baileys spent an afternoon with IFI’s David Smith and shared a little about their teen years, faith and family life, and what led them to start a private Christian school (now two schools) in downstate Illinois. Darren, Cindy, and David discuss the state of indoctrination masquerading as education in Illinois public schools and contrast it with the superiority of a Christian education that is founded on God’s Word and a biblical worldview.
