SPOTLIGHT: “Critical Grace Reality”
Written by Benjamin Smith
Ever wonder why most secularists seem perpetually angry? Is it possible they are attempting to be justified by works – dry bones trying to walk around all by themselves? This phenomenon is especially evident in Critical Race Theory (CRT), where people are either prompted to feel they are the chosen “race” or are told they are inherently evil and can only be “saved” by adhering to the “antiracist” law. There is no grace in CRT, only judgement and condemnation. It is a new gospel, one where a person’s “antiracist” identity and actions are the means by which they are justified.
Enter the true gospel, the gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Indeed, all humans are sinners, saved only by grace through faith in the saving work of Christ. Rev. Ceasar LeFlore, for this context, uses the term “Critical Grace Theory.” We welcome Pastor LeFlore as he joins Monte Larrick and David Smith to discuss racism in American and to share his personal experience with racism. This podcast also covers CRT and IFI’s upcoming worldview conference on that very issue, the centrality of agape love (a self-denying love), the mega issue of Christian kids in government schools (parents, get them out!), and much more.
Pastor Ceasar LeFlore is an IFI board member and has served extensively with pro-life and pro-family ministries, both in Illinois and nationally, including: Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), 40 Days for Life, Southland Coalition for Life, The Beloved Community Development Coalition, and Life Education and Resource Network (LEARN).
Join us next Saturday in Collinsville for this great event!
