SPOTLIGHT: Part Two of Our Conversation With Pastor Lindstrom

To start off September, this edition of Spotlight features part two of Monte Larrick and David Smith’s conversation with Pastor Calvin Lindstrom. The gentlemen stress the need to prioritize Christian education and explore various ways parents can implement faith-based education for their children. Pastor Lindstrom also details the important distinctives, advantages and opportunities of an academically-sound and biblically-solid education.

After the break the discussion turns to the recent, spectacular collapse – due to either moral failure of falling away from the faith – of several high-profile Christian leaders. Also meriting serious discussion, the trio addresses the infiltration and influence of culture within some national denominations, especially in the areas of identity, social justice, and interpretation of sin. Pastor Lindstrom concludes with an exhortation to practice discernment, be steadfast in prayer, and remain connected to the Word and the local church.

Calvin Lindstrom serves as pastor of the Church of Christian Liberty and Christian Liberty Academy, both in Arlington Heights, IL. He is also a long-time IFA board member.
