Less than two weeks ago, SB25 was signed into law by Gov. Pritzker, effectively making Illinois the most abortion-friendly state in the Midwest, if not the nation. In light of this action, it is fitting that we welcome Tim Moore, board president of Springfield Right to Life, to this edition of Spotlight.

Monte Larrick and Tim Moore discuss how pro-life Illinoisans must move forward in this age of “anything goes” abortion. Moore explains why it is so important for pro-life voters to remain vigilant and keep the pressure on our legislators. He also speaks to the motivation behind this extreme legislation, gives advice on how to refute the claim that this act is truly about women’s “health care,” and emphasizes the importance of retaining the Illinois Parental Notice of Abortion Act. On a practical note, Moore offers positive, concrete ways that pro-life citizens can support women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy.
