IFA Matching Challenge Take 2

Dear Pro-Family Friends,

For a second time this year, Illinois Family Action is being presented with a $20,000 matching challenge! These donors want to help Illinois Family ACTION raise much-needed funds to help us get the vote out and put key pro-family candidates across the finish line in the General Election on November 6th.

The mission of Illinois Family Action, in part, is to work on the political front to help get God-fearing men and women into the legislative branch, thereby preventing legislation like a taxpayer-funded abortion mandate from becoming law. Our sister organization, Illinois Family Institute, works to educate our elected officials about the pros and cons of legislative proposals before them and to inform Illinois citizens of the consequences of these policies should they become law.

The November election is vitally important. We simply cannot afford more liberal or weak-kneed conservative  politicians in Springfield. We must solve the bipartisan snollygoster problem at the state Capitol. It is shocking to see Republican lawmakers go along with the radical agenda of Chicago Democrats time after time, year after year. Now is the time to join the political fray.

There is no doubt, we need to elect bold conservative leaders who are not susceptible to the pressures of leftist groups like Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and Equality Illinois.

Any gifts you make this month to IFA will enable us to make a HUGE impact in key legislative races in the November 6th election! We hope and pray to add three or four additional pro-life/pro-family legislators to the Illinois House. This is critical if we hope to stop other bills like HB 40 from becoming law. Not only that, if we are successful in November, the Republican caucus in the Illinois House will be stronger and more conservative as a group.

Promoting turnout among Christians is going to be paramount in this election because we don’t have a candidate to be excited about at the top of the ticket. I cannot overstate how important it will be to run a strong “Get Out the Vote” effort in various districts in our state. We may also have to help some great incumbents who will certainly be targeted by leftwing activist groups looking for some victories.

I cannot overemphasize the importance of the work that we have been doing through Illinois Family Action in this election year and over the past several years. I hope you agree with me that it was necessary to form this 501c4 to engage in the Illinois political fracas and to organize and amplify the collective voice of social conservatives.

While I hesitate to ask our generous donors for additional funds, I believe you understand that additional resources will enable us to do more in the General Election in November.

And frankly, I am concerned about what may happen in November.

Many center-right voters are mostly satisfied with the election of Donald Trump and are cheering his administrative agenda. While I join this applause, I believe that these voters may sit back and coast, failing to see that their involvement in other races is more important than ever. Because of this, many of our supporters are not even aware of the impending threats against our values if there is a blue wave in November.

This is incredibly dangerous.

We are on track and have stayed the course up to this point, but we need your help now to continue to stay on track.

With your continued support, we will be able to stand strong in the face of our opponents’ threats and attacks and we will continue to boldly protect and advance life, marriage, family and religious liberty!

Funding Illinois Family Action is an ongoing challenge, but in a state of over 12 million people where the majority hasn’t yet gone mad, there are plenty of people committed to keeping Illinois from becoming an asylum run by leftist inmates untethered from reality and morality.
