Written by Alyssa Sonnenburg

In this episode of Illinois Family Spotlight, Tom Brejcha discusses President Biden and his State of the Union address.

Tom Brejcha is the Founder, President, and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Society. He is a legal expert with over 50 years of experience in the federal and state courts.

Abortion is a top issue for the 2024 election, and Brejcha comments on states who are codifying abortion into their state laws and gives insight on how Christians and conservatives can counter this.… Continue Reading

Everyone paying attention to the latest revelations about Hunter Biden and his energetically supportive father knows that journalists and Republican officials have opened a vein, or “the walls are closing in.” Even so, the leftist media are trying to report as little of this damaging scandal material as they possibly can.

We can scarcely imagine the anxious political chatter inside pro-Biden newsrooms, but let’s imagine it sounds something like Jen Psaki‘s MSNBC show.… Continue Reading

Written by Robert Knight

What is it with Republicans who try to fight the culture war with one hand tied behind their backs? They shift to a defensive crouch even when their position is clearly right.

G.K. Chesterton mocked this tendency years ago. Some politicians, he wrote, would loudly oppose the deadly mugging of a grandmother in a city park not because it’s immoral but because it would be a “waste of a perfectly good grandmother.”… Continue Reading

She rightly pointed out that the dividing line in America is between normal and crazy. In fact she used the word “crazy” three times.

While pundits are analyzing and parsing both speeches, they seem to be glancing over how Gov. Sanders may have laid the foundation for impeaching President Biden when she said,

Written by Michael Medved

Unfortunately, too many conservatives give the president credit he doesn’t deserve regarding his State of the Union agenda.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), U.S. House leaders Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Jeb Hensarling (R-TX), have all suggested that Barack Obama has “doubled down” on his agenda. The blackjack definition for “doubling down” is to “hold your existing cards while doubling your existing bet with only one more card.”

But in his State of the Union, Obama requested virtually all new cards, raising issues he and his party never mentioned in the recent campaign:
