I admit I know very little about former one-term congressman Joe Walsh of Illinois. Some quick online research reveals that he was a tea party activist elected in the anti-Obamacare Republican wave of 2010. During his short tenure in office, Walsh appears to have carved out a reputation as a staunch and sometimes harsh critic of former President Obama, and a reliable vote for conservative policy.

On his first day as president, Joe Biden issued an “Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities.” Mr. Biden’s cabinet nominees must now explain whether this commitment to “equity” means they intend to abolish “equal treatment under law.” Their answers are a confused mess.

Arkansas U.S. Senator Tom Cotton raised the question explicitly in confirmation hearings. Attorney General-designate Merrick Garland responded: “I think discrimination is morally wrong. Absolutely.”… Continue Reading

Make no mistake about it, Anna Kendrick, the actress/singer famous for roles in the Pitch Perfect and Trolls movies, undoubtedly considers herself quite woke. She is a Hollywood actress who is fully cognizant of what she’s supposed to say, when she’s supposed to say it, and what power she is supposed to “speak truth” to in order to maintain pop culture credibility.
