Trans woman activist Dylan Mulvaney did a happy-go-lucky softball interview tour to promote the book “Paper Doll: Notes from a Late Bloomer.” The “mainstream” media are out of the mainstream on trans issues, and their extreme fawning and flattery only underlines it.

At the top of every hour, hundreds of taxpayer-subsidized National Public Radio stations in 50 states transmit leftist public relations badly disguised as news. You can get talking points jammed in your ear on your rush-hour commute.

On the morning of Feb. 20, NPR anchor Korva Coleman promoted an anti-Trump lawsuit, and notice there are no labels for the activists. They’re just for “civil rights.” Coleman began:

“Civil rights groups are suing the Trump administration over executive orders they call illegal.

Even on Inauguration Day, you can count on taxpayer-funded National Public Radio to act like a hive of Democrats. It’s not surprising. As longtime NPR editor Uri Berliner reported last year, he investigated D.C. voting records and found “87 registered Democrats working in editorial positions and zero Republicans.”

On “Morning Edition” before Donald Trump was sworn in, co-host Leila Fadel interviewed U.S. Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL). After some milder opening questions, Fadel turned to revenge:

“President-elect Trump did promise dozens of times on the campaign trail that his rivals, critics, even some private citizens should be investigated, prosecuted, put in jail or otherwise punished.

There is never a level playing field in an American election. For example, the two major political parties have major advantages that third parties can’t muster. Another example is the major Democratic Party advantage of the home-team announcers calling the action on the playing field. Our national media set the terms and the tone of our democracy.

In the past few weeks, Uri Berliner, a 25-year veteran of NPR, blew the whistle on the state-funded media giant’s pervasive liberal bias. In response, NPR’s new CEO, Katherine Maher, suspended the senior editor without pay for telling the truth about the company. This ultimately led to Mr. Berliner‘s resignation.
