You just knew when anti-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement protester Renee Good tragically died in Minneapolis on Jan. 7 that the media would turn her into the next George Floyd.

Mr Floyd was a convicted felon and drug addict, caught in the act of passing counterfeit money, Mr Brown had just roughed up a shopkeeper half his size, and then attempted to assault a police officer. At a Native American presidential forum in Sioux City, Iowa last week, the Massachusetts Democrat framed her prevarications as a mistake:
