<p>The 2022 General Election campaign is reaching the home stretch, and the start of expanded in-person early voting and local get-out-the-vote (GOTV) efforts are underway to ensure that all voters turn out to cast their ballots. In their GOTV messaging, everyone from the honorable precinct committeepersons on up should remind voters, &#8220;Don&#8217;t Stop at the Top!&#8221;</p>

<p>In the waning days of the 2022 spring session, the Illinois General Assembly passed <a href="https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/billstatus.asp?DocNum=3215&#38;GAID=16&#38;GA=102&#38;DocTypeID=SB&#38;LegID=138074&#38;SessionID=110" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SB 3215</a>, &#8220;<a href="https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/102/SB/PDF/10200SB3215lv.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mental Health Validation Act</a>&#8220;.</p>
