The 2022 General Election campaign is reaching the home stretch, and the start of expanded in-person early voting and local get-out-the-vote (GOTV) efforts are underway to ensure that all voters turn out to cast their ballots. In their GOTV messaging, everyone from the honorable precinct committeepersons on up should remind voters, “Don’t Stop at the Top!”

In the 2020 elections, Kane County saw four of its countywide offices flipped from Republican to Democrat control, including the open offices of county board chairman (elected at-large by popular vote) and state’s attorney.… Continue Reading

On June 28, 2022, Illinois will hold primary elections. One hundred and thirty-three days later is the general election on November 8, 2022. Through Illinois Family Action, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many excellent candidates who are running for state and federal offices. Lord willing some of these excellent candidates will win and take office.

The two most significant elections are the race for Governor and U.S. Senate. Do conservative, God-fearing candidates have any chance of defeating two abortion-loving candidates – JB Pritzker and Tammy Duckworth?… Continue Reading

The final results of this week’s election may remain unknown for days or weeks with five or more states still counting ballots. Our continued prayers are needed today and throughout the upcoming week for honesty and fairness to prevail. Pray that voter fraud of any type would be exposed. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 20:23 that the Lord hates unequal scales.

We should not be surprised to learn how wrong the predictions of the establishment media and pollsters have been again.… Continue Reading

If you’re interested in detailed information about Illinois politics and the upcoming election, this Spotlight is for you! The podcast (originally a Zoom webinar) presents IFA-endorsed candidates Jim Oberweis and Jeanette Ward. Both candidates share their motivation to serve our state and nation and the issues that are at the heart of their campaigns.

Monte Larrick and I join in to discuss a wide range of topics including corruption, abortion, law and order, the economy, education choice, healthcare, the proposed “Madigan-Pritzker Tax Increase” amendment, ongoing implications of government overreach regarding COVID-19, and much more.… Continue Reading

We’ve spent months investigating the candidates running for state and federal office. We have emailed/messaged them, compiled voter guide surveys, reviewed their web sites and social media, analyzed voting records, compiled public statements, and met with many of them. Our endorsements are based on the top-tier issues that matter to pro-life/pro-family voters.

Therefore, the IFA Board of Directors and staff enthusiastically endorses Jim Oberweis in the 14th Congressional District. We believe Jim will be able to stand up to the Left’s smears and tactics and will help turn Illinois around.… Continue Reading

Former Republican congressman and conservative radio host Joe Walsh says he’s “seriously looking into” a primary challenge to U.S. Sen.
Citing Kirk’s lack of support for Jim Oberweis’ 2014 challenge to Dick Durbin, Walsh told the Daily Herald: “As far as I’m concerned, he [Kirk] left the Republican Party.”

U.S. Senator Mark Kirk said on the radio late yesterday that he will, in fact, campaign for Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Jim Oberweis. This statement comes as a complete 180 degree turn from his answer a month ago when asked about Oberweis. At that time he said he would not support Oberweiss because he valued his relationship with Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin.

What’s changed in the past thirty days that caused Mark Kirk to take back his previous statement?… Continue Reading

This Saturday, the Republican State Central Committee (RSCC) will meet in Chicago for a regular meeting.

A few months ago, it was revealed that Pat Brady, Chairman of the Illinois Republican Party, was lobbying Republican state lawmakers in favor of same-sex “marriage.” By doing this, Pat Brady betrayed conservative family values and the Republican Platform that states:

Our laws should strongly support and celebrate the loving commitment a man and a woman make to each other in marriage.

Late Friday night, the GOP Central Committee canceled their meeting to oust Pat Brady. In an email from 10th Congressional District Committeeman Mark Shaw, the reason provided was the lack of response from Chairman Pat Brady on whether he would attend the meeting in person or by phone.

From: Mark Shaw
Sent: Friday, March 08, 2013 10:17 PM
To: Illinois Republican State Central Committee
Subject: Rescheduling of March 9, 2013 State Central Committee Meeting

Dear GOP Leaders:

The March 9, 2013 State Central Committee Meeting is being rescheduled because the State Chairman has not responded to our request that he be present in person or by telephone for the meeting.
