Written by Dr. Everett Piper

Last week’s major kerfuffle in the conservative Christian world centered around the announcement by Chip and Joanna Gaines, of Magnolia Network fame, that they will proudly feature a “family” of two “married” men and the men’s young, surrogacy-purchased boys in an upcoming episode of their show.

Upon receiving predictable criticism for this decision, Mr. Gaines defiantly posted the following message on X:

“Talk, ask questions, listen … maybe even learn.

On February 18, President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order that expands access to In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

According to the White House,

“The Order recognizes the importance of family formation and that our Nation’s public policy must make it easier for loving and longing mothers and fathers to have children.”

The executive order goes on to cite the dangerously low fertility rate America is currently facing, as well as the difficulty many families are having as they try to have children.… Continue Reading

The Trump Administration recently announced a freeze in funding for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and ordered all its employees to pause their work. USAID’s website states,

“On Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:59 pm (EST) all USAID direct hire personnel will be placed on administrative leave globally, with the exception of designated personnel responsible for mission-critical functions, core leadership and specially designated programs.”

Unsurprisingly, this action has sparked outrage amongst a variety of groups.… Continue Reading

In this exciting episode of Spotlight, we are featuring Allie Beth Stuckey’s keynote speech that she delivered at the annual Faith, Family & Freedom Banquet! Allie is a dedicated wife, mom, cultural commentator, and is the beloved host of her podcast, Relatable.

In her speech, Allie breaks down her popular catchphrase: politics matter because policies matter because people matter. Politics affects policy, policy affects people, and people matter.
