SPOTLIGHT: Laurie Higgins On VCY America With Jim Schneider

This special edition of Spotlight features a recent appearance by Laurie Higgins on Jim Schneider’s Voice of Christian Youth (VCY) America program, Crosstalk.

Two hugely influential groups – NEA, the National Education Association, and APA, the American Psychological Association – are actively undermining and attacking biblical values. Higgins and Schneider discuss how the radical, anti-science ideologies promoted by these organizations, especially APA’s Division 44, The Society for the Psychological Study of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues, have led them far from their original purpose and mission and fueled their descent into blatent political activism.

Other topics covered by Higgins and Schneider include: the push to confer protected class status on sexual orientation and to destigmatize non-monogamous/polyamorous relationships; the indoctrination of K-12 public school students regarding transgenderism and sexually deviant behavior paired with a denial of access to differing points of view; the decidedly leftist (and completely unrelated to education) business items that were passed at the 2019 NEA Representative Assembly, and the Left’s phrase du jour: white fragility.

As citizens, we need to be aware and informed concerning these disturbing movements and policies and, as Christians, we must be willing to stand against what is morally and ethically wrong and be committed to defend what is right and true.
