Thank You!

This is a sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone who sent Illinois Family Action and me encouraging words of support this week. I prefer to respond personally to each individual who takes the time to contact us, but we received so many positive emails that I couldn’t keep up.

Following my articles on the critical importance of the social issues and the need to challenge anyone—even Republicans—who fails to acknowledge their role in maintaining a healthy and free society, we received scores of positive emails. As I mentioned in one of my articles, criticizing a Republican carries with it some risks for us—namely, support, including financial support.

We recognize, however, that “the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil,” and we are committed to speaking truth, doing the best we can to discern truth through our flawed human eyes. And we are committed to speaking truth even if our speech is costly.

We are careful not to act in impulsive, doctrinaire, or quixotic ways while at the same time realizing that the political process, liberty, and integrity are corrupted when unbiblical anxiety over finances results in silence or capitulation.

The fantastic news is that IFI/IFA subscribers overwhelmed us with praise, thanks, and encouragement! I apologize for being unable to thank everyone individually. Please accept this as a poor but sincere substitute for a thank you and hearty bear hug!
