“God” Was Rejected, Before He Was Accepted

When asked about the removal of “God” from the Democratic Platform, Illinois’ U.S. Senator Dick Durbin responded, “…to suggest that this document and the insertion of two words here and one word there, now defines politics in America suggests to me that you’re not focusing on the real issues that Americans care about.”

I wonder what he would say now that the Democrats put “God” back in? Would he again say that his Party and fellow Democrats are not focusing on the real issues that Americans care about — or would he admit that his Party and fellow Democrats have suddenly realized that the rejection of “God” will not play well with most Americans?… Continue Reading
